Barbara Grey - Director
Barbara set up Slam Partners in 1999 under the title of ‘The Consultancy Service’.. She manages and leads very complex consultancy projects in the UK and in Ireland across all sectors of health and social and voluntary care. She specifically works with individuals, teams and organisations that are in crisis and co-works with principal consultants on complex consultancy projects. She coaches directors, chief executives, consultants and clinical directors and runs assessment centres for recruitment to senior positions in health and social care.
Barbara is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC). She has an MSc in Human Resource Development and a coaching diploma and is a qualified practitioner in the use of several psychometric tools. She has led the development of the use of research based tools in order that work practices are evidence based. Barbara is currently completing her PhD in consultancy. Prior to setting up The Consultancy Service Barbara worked in clinical and management roles for 18 years in the NHS.
